Disabled Parking: Courtesy disabled parking spots (4) are provided on the south side of The Pier building and there are 17 spaces in the Dolphin parking lot. They are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. You are also allowed to drop off your disabled passengers at the front of the building, and return to the lot for your trolley ride to the building. If you require assistance from the Lots, Security can bring you to the building in one of our golf carts. Don't forget valet is also available for $4 per car.
Dolphin Parking lot: Located on the North side of the approach to The Pier, the Dolphin parking lot is a "Pay and Display" Lot and is $3 per car. The meters here do NOT make change, but DO take credit cards. During special events, parking is $5. Free trolley transportation is available for visitors to get to The Pier from the lot.
Pelican Parking lot: Located on the South side of the approach to The Pier, the Pelican lot is $3 per car. During special events, parking is $5. Free trolley transportation is available for visitors to get to The Pier from the lot.

Tour bus parking: Free bus parking is provided in the Dolphin lot located on The Pier approach on a first-come, first-serve basis. The lot is within walking distance of the nearest Looper stop (the downtown sightseeing trolley), The Museum of Fine Arts, The History Museum of St. Petersburg and the downtown shopping areas, as well as the approach to The Pier.
Parking on The Pier approach: Parking meters are on The Pier approach and it's perfect if you are just running in for an hour or two, as it is 50 cents per hour - 3 hour maximum. If you're here for the day, park in the Dolphin or Pelican Parking Lots and ride FREE trolleys to the building, which pick up at the Dolphin and Pelican Trolley Stations.
Downtown Transportation: In the fall of 2009, the City of St. Petersburg initiated additional transportation to move visitors and locals around the downtown, The Central Avenue Shuttle, runs from Central Avenue and 31st Street north (near the Grand Central Plaza/PSTA Terminal) with several stops along Central Avenue, stopping at BayWalk and ending at The Pier. This service runs every 15 minutes and will also make stops at the Dolphin and Pelican Parking Lots at The Pier on its way to and from The Pier. Headways for vehicles from the parking lots to the building and back will be between 7-1/2-10 minutes.
The Looper continues to run every 15 minutes and also now make stops at both Pier Parking Lots.
The Beach Trolley runs from the beaches with a stop at BayWalk. You can then transfer to the Looper or Grand Central Avenue Shuttle on the corner of Second Avenue NE to come to The Pier.
The Looper Trolley runs from 10AM-4:30PM Sunday-Thursday and 10AM-12AM on Friday and Saturday. The Grand Central Avenue Shuttle runs from 10AM-5PM Sunday-Thursday and 10AM-12AM Friday and Saturday. The Pier's red trolleys and golf carts run from 7AM-10AM and from 5PM until 1/2 hour after the last restaurant closes Sunday-Thursday. This program is administered by 717 in cooperation with the City of St. Petersburg and PSTA.
