"Party in the Parks" promises to be one of the biggest events of the year in downtown St. Pete. The waterfront park system will host a birthday celebration you are sure to remember! The choices and activities will be almost countless and the day will end with a free movie in the park.
The Pier will host "Gamers" in the Dockside Eatery Food Court and the Dockside Activity Room and you can watch checkers, chess and other games that have withstood time. There will be tours of a Coast Guard Patrol Boat docked at The Pier from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. with assistance from the St. Petersburg Preservation Society and the U.S. Coast Guard.
We will also have a caricature artist, face painter and "Charlie Souza and the New Tropics" on site from 1:00-4:00 p.m. at The Pier.

"Robert Harris Group" performs for Music Fest

Bo rn in Detroit, MI, Robert Harris’s musical career started at 12 when he began studying high school. Harris began playing guitar at 16, and was soon playing at coffee houses and lounges such as The Rges in the Detroit area. When he was 20, Harris joined a seven-piece R&B group as the lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist, playing covers by Tower of Power, Chicago, Earth Wind and Fire, and other groups.
Don't miss their performance at The Pier on Sunday, November 21st in the Courtyard by the Bay.

"Big Night Out" performs for Music Fest by the Bay

Big Night Out is a dance band from Sarasota Florida who perform Latin, Caribbean, Funk and Motown dance music. The band performs for concerts, festivals, night clubs, weddings, private functions and all of your other big nights out. So if you're looking for some lively entertainment with rockin' horns, a pulsating conga and great Bi-lingual female vocals, then come to The Pier and see Big Night Out perform. They have become one of southwest Florida's most exciting new dance bands on the scene. The band's line up includes many of Sarasota and Tampa's finest musicians. They have a sampler CD named "It's Time for... Big Night Out". It was recorded at Audio Images in Sarasota Florida. The CD is available at all shows.
